Connections by Darren Musial
“Hip bone connected to
the back bone
Back bone connected to
the shoulder bone
Shoulder bone
connected to the neck bone
Neck bone connected to the head bone”*
Every little thing in our life is connected. Some we see.
Some we don’t.
Connections by Darren Musial is a slick cat and mouse
thriller that keeps you guessing all the way through.
Miles Hollander
has learnt to turn one his worst traits into his key strength.
His looks.
An average man, scruffy and non- memorable, no one casts Miles a second look. Making it easy for
him to master his calling – petty theft.
As a security officer at Chicago’s O’Hare airport, Miles is never lacking for targets.
Jewellery, briefcases, purses, wallets. All available
literally at his disposal. With stressed out passengers all around he can avoid
suspicion easily. The only flaw. Technology.
To avoid being tracked Miles
has come up with a simple plan.
Slow and steady. Steal
only once in a way. Preferably at different parts of the airport.
It worked beautifully for him until in walks the woman of
his dreams – Vicky. He would do anything for her, including breaking his
cardinal rule.
Murder, mayhem and espionage galore. This thriller has it
all.
The best thing of all. It’s all connected.
Darren’s keen
analysis of human behaviour and pacy
writing style keep you guessing till the very end – Who/What is it all
connected to?
One thing is for sure. After reading this book you will
definitely keep a closer eye on your belongings at the airport.
“Nothing’s safe in this world.”
So glad I got this
ARC. It was an exciting read that had me guessing till the end. Hope you liked
my fair and honest review.
Happy Reading😃
